Framewrx International Goes Live!

Welcome to our first blog post as a newly christened org!

Under different circumstances, this would be cause for celebration; unfortunately, our world is facing an unprecedented crisis, and we are right in the thick of it, building rainwater harvesting systems, offering COVID-19 awareness outreach, and establishing hand washing stations throughout our project area in Haiti.

We are a different kind of org. We work in direct partnership with community leaders to ensure the longevity of our projects; prioritizing impacts in the communities where we work, education within our industry, and accountability from the ground up.

We have a unique history, but to make a very long story short enough for this space, we first established our roots in 2009 as ecofficiency.org, then re-branded our program in Haiti as Project 509 to differentiate it from the work we were engaged in with the so called “sustainability movement.” We felt our work in Haiti was much more impactful than any of the sustainability projects we were involved with at the time … so we dropped everything to focus on our work in Haiti, and here we are.
